Maria the Dog needs a home
Maria is a female Chihuahua, estimated to be 6-10 years old (DOB 2007/2011). She came from a puppy mill where she did not receive proper medical care. She is timid, and takes time to warm up to new situations. She will need a home with an abundance of patience and willingness to let her continue to learn to trust humans. She is learning about toys and treats and is starting to come out of her shell. She is in a foster home, and uses a potty pad. She takes comfort in the company of other dogs, so will need a home with another small dog.
